Abstract

|
One case of adult type, chronic granulocytic leukemia in 11 year old boy is reported. Cytogenetic studies on bone marrow culture have been performed. The adult form of chronic granulocytic leukemia is confirmed by the presence of the ph(^1) chromosome in diploid cells.
The significance of ph(^1) chromosome in chronic granulocytic leukemia is discussed with the brief review of related literature.
